The “Cosmos” series is inspired by the philosophy of Russian Cosmism, which includes literally everything from Plato to present day philosophy. This principle, where the many become the whole is used to create the “Cosmos”. These works are created by multiplying ultra-high resolution astrophotographs. Over 100 images were used for each work.
The digital works “Cosmos” have already made an impact on the physical world. They inspired Yaiyla Urban Winery to create a new line of Cosmos terroir wines. Each artwork has become an idea and design for a new wine.
Cosmos in Greek is beautiful.
